2 teaspoons sesame seeds
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Oriental sesame oil
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
1 can (16 ounces) whole green beans, drained
1 can (16 ounces) whole baby carrots, drained
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
Toast sesame seeds on a paper towel in microwave oven on HIGH for about 1 minute, stirring once until golden. Or, toss in a small skillet set over medium heat about 2 minutes or until golden. Immediately remove from pan.

In small bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, vinegar, sesame oil; season with salt and pepper. Place beans and carrots in shallow serving dish. Drizzle with vinaigrette and toss gently to mix. Sprinkle with onion and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 2 minutes
